    Finally, Chris Kyle's story

Chris Kyle played by Bradley Cooper... I really hope they don't dumb down the stories.

I thought Steve Austin would have made a good character to play Chris. Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing it. The book was great.

Saw this a while back. Bradley Cooper has been hitting the gym hard to prepare. Supposedly put on over 40 pounds for the role.

Before anyone bags on Bradley Cooper it should be known that it was actually HIS idea to make this movie about the Chris Kyle story. It was also originally signed on to be directed by Steven Spielberg and it sounds like Cooper also had some say in the fact that it's now going to be directed by Clint Eastwood. Let's not make this a negative thread about a great story that more Americans need to be told.

If true he deserves a lot of respect for that.

As for Steve Austin, my thoughts as well. Either way I am looking forward to this.

Chris Kyle was 38 when he died and Steve Austin is 49; that would be a hard one to pull off. Hell, I just hope that Eastwood lives long enough to complete it. He's pushing 85.

With Clint in the director's chair, we can hope the cheesy stuff stays to a minimum. Cooper is a good actor, but I never would have pictured him as Chris Kyle.
