I can see doing overpasses cause the dipshits not only hurt themselves, but can easily kill other drivers.

Bridges... unless there is a float parade below or some other means of causing collateral damage let them at it.

Having been across Golden Gate Bridge many times I can tell you it already has a suicide barrier. Its called the edge and natural selection. Until you cross the edge your safe. After the edge Natural Selection takes over. Biggest waste of money ever

I say add a diving board and plant a target for them to aim for. Anyone getting a bullseye gets a free coffin. Would cost all of about 5K. The rest of that 76Mil could then be put towards shit this country actually need. I mean I really don't care about someone who wants to see how big of a splash they can make going off the side of a bridge. Hell of a lot better than some jackass who wants to make national news by shooting someplace up because he is depressed or on enough meds to make an elephant go bonkers or whatever.

The target placement is a bit impractical because of the currents. BUT, the diving board idea is outstanding! Only downside is the cost of the diving board and installation would most likely go way over budget and take years deciding where to put it!

On a serious note, saw this documentary a few years back. One of the most somber films I've ever seen. Hope to God I never experience the pain and suffering that these souls must go through to make them end it all. Grant me the strength and the will to live each day to the fullest.
