    If you hold it down for more than 1/2 a second it becomes momentary on. When you release it will shut off. I borrowed a buddies for a weekend to make sure I liked it, and, I loved it.

    Yeah it does but that holding it down doing drills, half the time you end up full blown on and have to cycle through. It's quite a distraction.

    Very nice choice, I do not think that light will be an issue for your dad's use. Please post pics when available.

    That's pretty much what I was thinking. I'll show him the features but I can pretty much guarantee he will only use the constant on feature.

    and go QD mounts so he can switch back and forth.. I don't really like offset sights and never need both at the same time...
