    Dave,

You were one of the guys I knew were really curious about this thing. Put the price in my second post on this thread. MSRP is $29.95 with a street price being $24.95.

Why even post this? Seriously. It contributes nothing.

Thanks, must have missed it. Yes I imagine I'll end up with one of these.

Check yourself hoss, Jax is a well established and respected member of this community and he's no one's shill.

Jax, how's the texturing on the vfg? It looks a bit slick.

    Great review Brother!
I just ordered the BCM version after sampling our friend from Idaho's vfg.
I'd like to see how these compare. As you know, I'm not a VFG type.
Oh, and maybe a few more reps at the gym and you will be caught up with me! That new lady friend must be pushing you a bit!

Yep! You should see johnny boy's post in a moderator's VP9 thread. I think the gate was left unsecured last month and some trolls snuck inside.

Jax, has anyone tried mounting one of these to a Mega monolithic handguard? Thanks!
Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

Amen about product delays. We are going on what... 4 years for the 1-8 Short Dot??

Regarding storage, what would you keep In there? I ask because over the years I have bought stocks, grips, etc with storage. Save a small bottle of 10-8 lube, I don't think I've used them to hold anything. I am starting to think it's great marketing to make us think we need it.
Lol, the 1-8 Short Dot is like the lochness monster. Every once in a while someone posts some pics of one they saw at a demo and then it goes away for another 9 months.

I currently have a BCM VG on my KMR right now, and it has an Aimpoint T1 battery and a CR123. The pistol grip itself carries another cr123.

You're right, most people don't use storage (I have an Emod with nothing in it at all) but its still nice.

As I said, this VG looks like a nice addition to the market and I can appreciate its ability to be used with multiple types of forearms, but I'm an impatient consumer and nothing makes me more irritated than showing off something cool a year before the release date.
