    El Cid,

I knew there was something I was missing and your question reminded me what it was.

Top to bottom measures 2.25". The width varies because it tapers outwards but the inward most area from front to back is 1.31" and at its widest is 1.53" front to back.

The BCM is still toolless and has storage. I guess looking at this independently of the BCM KM VG, it's a pretty nice addition to the market.

However, companies piss me off when they "release" something at SHOT and still don't have it available for sale seven months later. Reminds me of all the BS in the NFA world (Looking at you AAC and SilencerCo) I know shit takes time, but don't be surprised when I buy something else in the mean time...especially when your competitor does it in half the time.

P.S. Thanks for the review Jax. Do you bench schoolbusses?

Thanks! I keep hoping to find one in the 2" range. This one may fit the bill as it won't require a piece of pic rail.

Amen about product delays. We are going on what... 4 years for the 1-8 Short Dot??

Regarding storage, what would you keep In there? I ask because over the years I have bought stocks, grips, etc with storage. Save a small bottle of 10-8 lube, I don't think I've used them to hold anything. I am starting to think it's great marketing to make us think we need it.
Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

I think the market as a whole has gotten better with the speed of product announcement to product distribution.

And yeah, I like storage in the pistol grip for my Surefire earpro in case I forget my electric ones and I like storage in the stock for 123s and it helps balance the rifle a bit but don't want storage that far forward on the rifle to keep the balance to the rear. I've already got enough crap on my rifles.

Really? What an informative post. You want to close the thread after randomly naming a handguard, when the review is of a VFG... Since you've only been here a month it might be better if you stay in receive mode a while.

To confuse things even further, KMR is this guys way of saying Key Mod Rail, not just referencing the KMR specifically. Perhaps he switched it up to where KMR now stands for BCM and we just weren't smart enough to pick up on it. Stupid us.
