This looks like a well designed product at a pretty good price point. What's not to like? Thanks for the informative preview. The pictures were excellent; showing the variety of rails/forearms it attaches to, with close-ups, makes a big difference. Well done.

    Jax,

I have a centurion C4 rail and am curious whether or not I can mount it through the existing recoil lugs without shaving the rail down. Basically, can this be mounted to/through a section of 1913 rail? Thanks for a thorough and informative review.

People rushing things to market and using their customers as Beta Testers makes me way more irritated. Small businesses with limited capital have challenges bigger companies don't. I'd rather wait a year and get a complete product then get instant, temporary gratification form a almost good enough product that doesn't really deliver on it's promise till V.3.

Thanks for the review, I'm looking forward to getting a look at one of these soon and perhaps purchasing one.
Release date is today, anyone know where they might be available now?

Been waiting to order one for a while. I was told they'd be shipping this week, so hopefully the rest of us can order soon.

Jax, how's the texturing on the vfg? It looks a bit slick.
MT! What's up brother?! The texturing is very mild. Unity Tac said they deliberately left it that way knowing many would do a texture job on it. Appreciate the kind words.

Toddler, unfortunately I do not have access to any of Bill's handguards. Maybe goteron can chime in on this. I've tried it on 4-5 different rails varying from completely circular in shape to completely square at the base and all have worked just fine with the VFG.

I'd like to see how these compare. As you know, I'm not a VFG type.
Oh, and maybe a few more reps at the gym and you will be caught up with me! That new lady friend must be pushing you a bit!
You and Idaho....lucky lucky lucky dude.

We'll have to trade notes on these VFGs brother or maybe swap them out for a week or two. Like I said I haven't touched BCM's version either. Like you I haven't ran a VFG for probably a year and a half now but after having U.T.'s version for about a week now I am rethinking that.

Oh and yeah....having a girl around definitely helps in the motivation department and working out. Not gonna be arm wrestling you anytime soon though.

I couldn't see why this wouldn't work man. When I get home tonight I'll mount it this way on my C4 and get back to you.

Thanks man. May want to keep checking ROG Tactical's website. Good company to order from and wish they were one of our sponsors on M4C.

    El Cid,

Missed this question earlier man. Not sure about the Mega. If I had access to one I'd try it. Would probably fit fine.

    E_Johnson,

This looks retarded but should answer your question on the pic rail of the Centurion C4. Had to mount it on top as this was the only side with enough length of rail to support the entire VFG. It mounts very securely with zero movement.
