    I'm not a fan of Spikes, due to a barrel of theirs that I bought. It was marked 5.45 but the bore was .218 or so, reasonable for 5.56. It keyholed at 25 yards. I couldn't get them to replace it. I put a bunch of time and effort into it, but after months with no progress and a lot of emails and phone calls I decided it wasn't worth it.

    so YMMV on them standing behind their stuff.

    Man that sounds like an awful experience. Hopefully it'll never come to that for this bcg.

    Staking looks fine to me, you don't want to wind up with a carrier staked like this...

    Sure it wasn't the ammo? This is a known problem with some and has been discussed all over the place. The problem exists due to faulty bullet manufacturing processes...
