Something to think about if you live/shoot in an area with skeeters
    LoL good point. Thanks.

Got several moe's on several hard use guns and they've been fine. Of course you're invalidating your own opinions every time you post around here with the cocky self righteous crap you've been spewing lately.

Really? I've got both a CTR and MOE and in terms of shooting I don't notice a difference. No accuracy gained with the CTR at all. Then again I'm just a hobby shooter.

My personal conclusion is that the "friction lock" is a bunch of snake oil designed for the OCD types. Nothing wrong with CTR or MOE at all, and in terms of hitting the target I'm not seeing a difference.

The lock makes a difference with facial hair. I had a similar opinion until experience taught me otherwise.
Additionally, I recall an issued early-production M4 (circa 1997) that was unbelievably loose; that thing rattled...

Ok, I'll buy that. I don't have facial hair (job requirement).

And just so people know what kind of "hobby shooting" I do, I shoot regularly out to 250 yards offhand and out to 500 from a rest. At those ranges I'm equaly accurate with either stock.

Now since comfort is subjective as is personal preference I don't see any issue with someone using either stock.

How does a friction lock effect facial hair?

That is incorrect, the CTR was released first. The MOE was offered later as a more cost effective option for those that didn't require a QD cup or friction lock.

    I think that settles it.

So.... does anyone have experience with the stock that's mentioned in the title of this thread?

thanks for the clarification....be that as it may, the MOE is still an inferior product and I just can't look passed it's fit and fitment inadequacies! By far the worst stock I have ever used.....
