CNN: Reporter tweets that cheering Israelis are scum!

Only minutes after she left the air she jumped to Twitter, revealing that she had a few more things to say about what she witnessed that morning.
On Twitter Magnay was shocked at those Israelis she saw that morning cheering the rockets' red glare: "Israelis on hill above Serdot cheer as bombs land on Gaza; threaten to 'destroy our car if I say a word wrong'. Scum."

I have no tolerance remaining for this medium, and none whatsoever for any people perverted and stupid enough, to be openly taking the side of totalitarian islamofascism over the form of democracy that little Israel brings with it....

I like how this is spun against the Israelis: somehow it's UNFAIR for Hamas to start this go-round and then get pummeled. Why, the Israelis should turn off the Iron Dome and make it a fair fight. Fvcking retarded mentality right there.

This is analogous to some guys with BB guns taking potshots at guys wearing body armor and carrying M4's. Yeah, you might get lucky and hit one in the eye, but 99% of the time you're just going to get your ass shot!

The report I read concerning this incident is the reporter was referring to a small group of individuals making threats of violence against her and her crew when she used the word "scum." She denied the term was directed towards the larger Israeli population in support of their government's military actions in Gaza.

What's retarded about that mentality is the idea that somehow turning off the Iron Dome would make Israelis less likely to support military action against Hamas and might therefore be making the conflict deadlier. Like Hamas's lack of an Iron Dome and the effectiveness of Israeli air strikes against Hamas has had the same effect on Hamas and the Palestinians.... Great big can of WTF there.

The media and PC crowd do this all the time. Kind of like how they convicted one George Zimmerman in the court of public opinion for violating the civil rights of one Trayvon Martin after Mr. Zimmerman shot Mr. Martin in self-defense so as to prevent Mr. Martin from smashing his skull into mush on a sidewalk.
