OK, so if they aren't, could they PLEASE finally overturn NY, NJ, and MD's carry license policies, instead of rejecting the cases?

Or are they just trying to look like they're not COMPLETELY in the hands of the oligarchy?

The problem for the administration is that Chief Justice Roberts may not side with them. On his previous pass at Obamacare he noted that it was not the judiciary's job to save the nation from poorly written laws. Well, the law is very clear on this one; only expenses incurred through State exchanges can be reimbursed. The administration's logic that the law was poorly written and should have covered federal exchanges will not carry water under Roberts' logic. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Roberts is ideologically consistent.

Did he say poorly written or just bad law (ideologically) in general. I recall it being the latter I think.

As for the current ruling the law was pretty cut and dry as far as language goes so the feds didn't really have to stand. They did a rush job and paid the price.

I'll ask again: Have any of you signed up for Obamacare?

If so, how does the premium compare with what you previously had, assuming you had some of health care insurance?

    Thanks!

P.S. I haven't signed up and never will.

Nope. My employer still offers coverage. My MIL tried to sign up after having her catastrophic care plan outlawed. She couldn't afford it, so she went a few months without coverage till she became eligible for Medicare/Medicaid or whatever senior citizen plan is available. I think her premium tripled. Was a pretty rude awakening for a die hard Democrat.

Wont sign up until I absolutely have to. I envision that in the near future if ObamaCare doesn't implode or we get stuck with single payer that every employer will shed the benefits packages and either pay the fine or make every employee an independent contractor.

O-hole or someone higher up than him (his donors, handlers, etc.) has dirt on Roberts or some other sufficient means of controlling him or he would have struck down Obamacare entirely in the NFIB decision and wouldn't have turned down the Kachalsky, Woollard, and Drake cases.

I haven't signed up for it because I don't want to register in their system. I'm self employed so currently do not have health care because I can't afford it. Doing some research on my own I found out what my cost would be more or less for Bronze Level coverage (minimum) and it is beyond what I can afford and actually costs more than better coverage if I was added to my wifes plan at work. We actually can't afford to do even that.

Furthermore I don't qualify for any subsidies, discounts or other considerations. At the end of the year I will actually be fined for not having health care and this will mean I have even less money for my "out of pocket" health care expenses.
