Hypothetical 1 gun and 3 different optics ?

If you could only have one AR, but three different optics on that rifle which gun and which three optics would you choose to have the most capable rifle?
    Rifle choice.
    Optics choice.
    Mounts.
I learn quite a bit here and was just running this through my head. Thanks for the opinions.

Why would you have 3 optics for one gun?
ETA: in this theoretical situation it'd be wiser to determine the theoretical, intended use of the gun and choose an "optic-combo" that suits the job. Either an RDS with a magnifier or 1-4 with an offset buis or rmr.

Well not everyone can carry three guns, but you can carry one general purpose gun with three optics a lot easier.
What I'm looking for is one general purpose gun that you can run multiple optics on to be the best in various roles.

    11.5 with T1, T1 & magnifier, or lightweight 1-4/1-6.

    14.5/16 with 1-6, 2.5-10, or fixed 3/3.5/4x with offset irons and/or piggyback/offset MRDS.

    16" 7.62 with 1-8, 1-6, or 3-18.

But what if you could only have ONE rifle, but three optics?
I'm thinking a 16 inch 5.56 with 3 optics might be a good place to start?

I could take any of those three with those optics and be very happy.

    For what purposes (missions)?...

A good variable optic will fill most roles very well. Are you thinking 1x for close range, something magnified for medium and long ranges? I could maybe see having a much more powerful optic (like a DMR w H59) if you do long range stuff on occasion. But I believe a RDS or even more so, an EOTech can be used quite effectively out to 400 or so yards. Spend that money on ammo/classes rather than a mid range optic. Improve your skills before spending money on extra high dollar glass.
Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

I would agree with you, but that's not the object of the question.
What gun + three optics would serve the best use in most situations?
There obviously isn't one gun for every situation, but you may be able to balance one gun and three optics to cover or come as close to all situations.
    Which would you choose?
Remember filling that duffle bag, what do you choose and why? Space and perhaps budget is limited. Taking in account 3 Rifles and 3 optics may be unobtainable, think one rifle and three optics to make it as general purpose multi role as possible.
    Thanks

I think what your looking for is a long range optic on the top rail, a 4x acog offset and a aimpoint on another offset.

No, I am looking for a good general purpose rifle with individual sets of optics to make it serve mutliple purposes.
