Search under tactical 45 degree offset rail mount. Sold by ustac. With the sights mounted and on the rail they felt rock solid.

This is a little off topic…..but what kind of accuracy are people getting with these, compared to that of the standard irons? I'm thinking about putting a 1x4 or 1x6 variable on one of my rifles and always wondered about the off-sets

Thus, a specific eye relief is needed (and of course sight radius) if you want to dial a given amount of elevation.

I would be very interested in your tests, and even better if you can ask the tech people at Knight's on this topic, perhaps they can provide the angular come ups between the various distance settings, at one or two different sight radius, with a recommended eye relief. With this info you can estimate the real zero distance of each setting with a different load.
The center of the rear sight is the center of the rear sight regardless of eye relief. Placing the eye closer to the rear sight will make it more difficult to precisely center the front sight tip, but that is a user perception issue, not a mechanical angular difference.

Anybody ever try the XS offset sights? They look like pistol sights on offset blocks:

I had seen those and I was looking for something similar, though with a direct Keymod mount. So far, that's the closest I've found.

What I've been looking for is something with a lower profile that doesn't need to be folded for routine storage and transport. For this a low profile is a must, and I just don't see that there's anything out there that fits. Maybe I'm just being too particular.

I have run a set of dueck defense off sets with a magnified optic, when I changed configurations on my carbine I sold the optic but kept the off set sights. The thing that I liked about the dueck's is that they are standard fixed iron sights with a standard presentation, which I greatly prefer. My shooting buddy runs the knights off sets and I like those also.

My apologies for the slight derail, but does anyone have a recommendation for those of us who shoot a carbine left-handed?

I have looked at the very spiffy KAC sights, but their instructions say they are for right-handed use only. I'd love to have an option like those.

    Thanks muchly.

ETA: Gee, it looks like Medic548 may have provided an answer with Dueck Defense - their website says they off a left-handed version. Any others?

I don't work for kac, but I see no reason that you can't use them on the left side. It's not optimal, but it's useable.

Just quoting what I read off their website on the product description.

Trust me, I loves me some KAC, and own their gear. But a few short years ago I actually started reading directions, and then a few months ago, following them as well.

    I like the 200-600 BUIS a lot.

My wife runs a pair on her 18" and I have a pair that I used to use on one of my primary guns but I recently went back to the trusty T1 on that rifle so they are just sitting on my safe for the moment (they may go on my new build)

I really like them but they are'nt for everyone, if you have low cheek bones or fat cheeks they may not work for you.
