    Frag out! -magazine online

I ran into this link over at militaryphotos.com, and I thought I'd copy the link here as well and share the joy. Appears to be a Polish gun magazine, but written in english. I don't know these guys and I am not affiliated with them in anyway.

This magazine has articles on the MSBS, Bren 805, and H&K416A5. And then some more for 200 pages worth. I have gone through some 70 pages so far and I think it is quite ok. YMMV.

An interesting read, great find! I was cracking up at the photo of a Howitzer sticking out of the side of the AC-130. Cover your ears and open your mouth!

The MSBS photo's piqued my interest as far as the concept of what looks like user changeable pistol grips. Everything else has been done in one form or another. In the case of ejection side changes, AUG did it first, followed by TAVOR so nothing too revolutionary there.

Cool magazine, thanks for sharing it. There is a typo however. On page 22 they note that the B&T APC 223 is a CZ 805 Bren.

    Thumbs up

Cool, thanks for posting. I always enjoy reading the UK mags but now I have access to a Polish one as well!

I had opportunity to spend whole day with MSBS in bulpup version. I was obviously shooting it, but also doing some drills to check out it's ergos. I had AUG and HK416 next to it to compare. I also have some experience with Tavor. What really sets MSBS apart from other bulpups are magazine changes. Both with bolt forward and locked bolt they are lightning fast and easy. I was actually much faster to change mags on MSBS bulpup that I had in my hands first time, than on HK that I use regularly. Key factors to that are magazine release button placement (in reach of trigger finger), nicely beveled magazine well and bolt release placement.

BTW while some of MSBS family features might not appear anything new, there is quite new approach to execute this features. Examples are non-reciprocating charging handle, that is forward assist at same time, way to change ejection direction or how barrel is installed in receiver.

BTW I know some guys behind Frag out! and they know their stuff. Some of them come with actual combat experience.

MSBS carbine looks like what the Masada should have been. No idea about the guts of it, but externally that is what comes to mind. I want.

Guts, are different, but they work. Quite well actually. It is no secret that guys responsible for "looks" and "ergos" of MSBS (it is joint project of FB Radom and Military Technology University - MTU was responsible for outside, FB Radom was for putting guts inside) are big Masada and Magpul fans.

Guys from FragOut! published 2 videos from shooting MSBS in classic and bulpup configuration. Little too dramatic for my taste, but you can see how they work.

I would love it if these were available in the U.S.

Looks more interesting to me than some of the competition.

Wow, that is a fantastic magazine. I can't believe it is free. The article on the latest version of the C-130 Gunship was awesome.
