Damn, I just paid $989 before tax on a Colt LE6920 MOE in mid-July from my LGS. Ran me like $1084 after tax with two PMAGS.
Suppose that's the convenience of buying locally.

I caved as well. I REALLY didn't need to spend the money now, but I now have a 16" ELW-F with a 13" KMR/Mod 0 comp and a BCM BCG sitting on the dresser in my room. I couldn't rationalize spending $960-ish on this SAME upper a couple of months later when this sale has ended, to get the same thing I could get now for $708with free stuff. Now comes the fun part of acquiring all of the lower build parts! This will be my first AR "assembly." Can't really call it a build because all I'm doing is installing the LPK, trigger and buffer tube then sticking the upper on the lower. But I can say that it will probably be the best shooting rifle that I own.

I also ordered a BCM upper when I otherwise would not have
I've gotten 3 uppers, two 11.5" & a 14.5". I'm on the fence on another 14.5" that I don't need but fighting the urge not to buy.
Heavily, HEAVILY contemplating getting rid of my LE6920 16" MOE upper for a BCM 14.5" Lightweight KMR 13" upper.
Interestingly enough they don't offer any other compensators/brakes than the A2X and the Comp Mod 1, I was more in the market for a Surefire MB556... Which is odd, because they sell the Surefire separately. Maybe a phone call is in order.
Perhaps I'll order it with the standard A2 and have a gunsmith pin and weld the MB556 before I pop it onto my lower.
Yeah you know prices are falling hard when you look on Gun Broker for folks selling their hard earned (long wait) Larue Tactical ARs and trying to get what they paid for it...or turn a profit. 0 bids across the board. Crazy...there was a time when a LT rifle was easily worth double as soon as it shipped, but times like that could always be ahead as well. More black rifles is never a bad thing to have in inventory when times are tough...for many reasons![]()
