Awesome Flag: Symbol of freedom, hope and inspiration

    Awesome engineering feat.

Patio dedication to the fallen of Sheboygan County KIA's.

Standing 400 feet tall, the new Acuity Insurance Flagpole is the tallest flagpole in North America. Located on the Acuity Insurance headquarters campus in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, along Interstate 43 between Milwaukee and Green Bay, the pole supports a 60-foot-wide by 120-foot-long American flag. Located at the base of the flagpole is a brick paver patio featuring the names of Sheboygan County residents killed in active duty.

No problem man. Nice video, but everytime they said "sheboygan" I kept thinking it was a Fraternity stunt or something.

    "Let's go Sheboygan that freshman!"

I drive past that flag a couple times a week. It is pretty cool to see in person.
Acuity had another flag before this one that oscillated like a mo-fo when the wind blew & it had to be taken down. Looks like this time they beefed up the flag pole significantly. You can't miss it for anyone traveling north from Milwaukee to Green Bay on 43.

Did you ever stop and check out the paver patio honoring their KIA? What a neat way to honor their fallen heroes.

No, not yet. The wife of one of my coworkers worked on this project & he sent me this video last week. It wasn't until then that I found out that they did that with the pavers. I'll have to make time to check it out next time by.

I'm pretty well set for insurance at the moment, but I am going to keep Acuity Insurance in mind.

Good on them, doing this project.

Seemed fitting to stop today this time by. This flag is massive up close.
