The Youtube caption says the pilot stalled the jet on approach and had to put the spurs to it to keep from cracking up.

But I'm no pilot so I couldn't say if that explanation fits the evidence.

All I can say is I can see 99 ways that one could have gone really, really bad and either through skill, luck or a powerful combination of both he avoided catastrophe.
