Sheesh, first Pappabear's scope, now the front site!
I'm sensing a trend here. He talked of his new BCM KMR being so light it blew off the table and how he dropped a different one before that

I hadn't seen the thread on the LMT sight before, but that is the exact thing I was thinking of based off the aimpoint thread. I guess if you are one of the ounce Nazis though you would still want the DD sight over the modded LMT

EDIT, saw the link with the mcmaster nut. Actually read about that mod on TOS. Might give it a shot on the fixed sights that came on the M&P 15/22.

Front sight ears that are too thick are annoying because they obscure too much of the target.

I don't like LMT sights. The MK18 rear is overkill for a carbine or SBR.

You remember that one huh? Bushnell covered the objective ring on that one. The KMR has taken 3 falls. Two on hard tile, the wind blow was into the dirt. The diamondhead sights, front AND back have dings in them, but are otherwise fine.

As it turns out, the LaRue rail was even tweaked. As I was looking at the gun so I could Mod an LMT sight to fit with the light, I noticed the rail was friggin bent. That gun landed at the worst possible angle and speed. I did get the rail bent back straight with a few carry handles and an Armorer's wrench for leverage.

The shit I screw up??? I should have been a Marine.

How'd the LMT sight project turn out?

Never hit the hardware store. I was blindsided by the rail damage. I even went out to the garage and looked at the sealed concrete.... it's like the sight ear bit on the surface just friggin right... In typical markm luck fashion, I got the 1 in a million nut punch.

I may just buy a new LMT sight since the one I have is Zerod on that gun.

I'll give you a smoking deal on the takeoff LMT front sight I have if you want it. I never used it since new.
