Nope. The pic doesn't show it.. but when I shouldered the carbine, you could see the sight post was whacked off keel. The steel sight post actually kept this turd from folding over more than it did.

How do the MBUS PROS do? Iraqgunz swears by them. We happened to be chatting about them 2 nights ago and he mentioned that they'll collapse where he'd seen the Troy snap the lock pin.

Would it be possible to make one out of steel? It probably wouldn't flex as easily as aluminum, which may make it more difficult to grip the rail. I guess if you dropped it the rail may be damaged before the sight though.

    Sorry for your loss.

What is needed here is a good BUOS, also known as: back up optical sight...

Maybe Gear Sector should make a front sight that is as squared away as their light mounts.

I know a lot of people hate them but I always figured the hk style round sights would resist this a little better. I run troy fixed fronts in the hk pattern on a couple of guns for this reason.

Bummer. This is hard to see as I have 2 of these on my 2 rifles.

Was the sight mounted when it broke, or did it break just falling by itself?
