    Blackened Colt Rail Gun

I stumbled across these photos of a Colt Rail Gun I built last year and it reminded me how much I like building on those particular base guns. While the Rail Gun in stock form may not be exactly the way I would want it, the pistols are a solid base gun and good choice for a rail gun build. This current Colt offering continues to be one of my favorite guns to modify and build upon... and the gun seen here was no exception.

Lots of details in this build and some key features as requested by the owner were the weld-on Legacy Custom mag-well, Wilson Combat Bulletproof ambi-safety, and matte DLC finish. Otherwise the pistol is very much a full-house gun from my bench featuring a weld-up frame and slide fit, Kart barrel matted to an EGW bushing, flattened and serrated slide top, serrated rear of the slide, PG rear sight with tritium front, EGW grip safety, best quality internals throughout, ball-cuts on the slide, and more. Combine all this with a thorough de-horn and a good set of stocks like the VZ grips seen here and you’ve got a pretty solid gun ready for a myriad of uses.

Jason: What's the labor/materials ballpark on that pistol, as configured? Thanks, Ed

    Beautiful gun.

I have actually seen a Commander Rail Gun, from Colt. I have never seen one for sale, but a LGS near me does a lot of transfers for Colt, and they had one pass through. All black like that one, and a Commander.

That is better than Viagra. I may have to call my doctor if this continues much longer.

I had the same question as SHIVAN if you don't mind.

I have a CRG and would love to have it worked over as a serious work gun
