That's unfortunate because...
I just built these. I think I got the very last Centurion 11.5" Midlength cutout in existence. I got a 12.5" Kino to throw it on a spare lower I had.
The FSB is a vital piece of kit for retaining zero.

I'm late to the party, but at least I know I'm not loosing my mind that FSP/MRE rails seem to have disappeared from the landscape. I just paid way too much for a RIS II on eBay for my 6720. I wish I could find something lighter...

I shoot my SIONICS Patrol Zero upper a lot, which was the impetus of this thread, and eventually settled (though they are great) on Magpul's MOE-SL midlength handguards. Still prefer the front sight up with a RDS. The RoschWorks SL1 makes a great fixed front sight/ 12 o'clock light combo for rail mounted sights.
Have been thinking of having a KMR milled to allow the use of a FSB
Proper Planing Prevents Piss Poor Performance.......
Easy stuff.
Just as there would be a milled opening at the top, there would have to be holes on the sides to allow for installing the pins. Install the KMR and the FSB in unison, siding the, down the barrel together. Pin the FSB, then install the hardware for the KMR. Kinda like installing a Knights URX4 on a non Mod 2 upper.

Not a KMR, but here is a DIY NSR thread posted by another member. Might be of some help;
