A gun writer in Oregon bought a TR Noveske with this barrel and put three shots of varmint ammo into a half minute group.

Except as we all know, three shot groups are only useful for zeroing under a time constraint and not for checking the potential accuracy of a barrel.

Not to say that Noveske doesn't make 1/2 MOA barrels... I own one. But you need preferably a 10 shot group.

I hear you on ten shot groups but for a hunting rifle I'll the aggregate of ten cold bore shots.

Im notbsaying they arent more accurate, just wondering if the difference is that substantial for most people. Not trying to start an argument. Just asking because my knowledge on the platform is novice at best and I truly want to hear yours and others opinion. Thank you.

uhhhh... it's well known Noveske makes some of the best barrels out there. It should be no surprise that they are superior in accuracy to most other brands, including the big boys.
