Look at Colt, some of the worst barrels on the market when it comes to accuracy, yet their complete guns are very reliable and most people (GOV and CIV) will take that with a lower accuracy and price any day.

I did a head to head comparison with a BCM 12.5" and a Noveske 12.5" (Lite with Chrome lining) two years ago with different ammo. After seeing the difference I was sold. Now the the Noveske SS barrels are just crazy accurate and not much comes close. Most people can't even shoot them to their potential.
I hear ya. Thanks for the response. Thanks to Aztec and Sig too. I learn something new here everyday. I need to get a barrel down the road for an upper I have and i may end up going with the noveske 10.5 over the DD 10.3.

Jerry is correct...these are the Light Carbine Basic MOEs, not the Skinny Carbine MOEs. I do have the skinny carbine barrels with lo-pro gas block, but none with FSB.

    Amazingly accurate as expected.
But I will say my 6920 SOCOM1 comes very close ...

Are you guys going to put those 14.5" w/BattleComp back on special? I was literally going to buy one today, but saw they weren't part of the special deals anymore.

The Noveske wins out pretty handily in that comparison. Look up some of the gas port issues with the 10.3" DD.

I'm gonna look into that. Thank you for the heads-up Zim!

I would argue there are no issues with DD 10.3" barrels. I've had a few and they run on whatever. I actually put a .70 BRT kit in mine and took out the O-ring and it created issues where there were none. Put it back to stock and no trouble with it now.

That Noveske is sweet. If it was my cash, though, for $1500 I would probably buy a smith Moe Mid and an Aimpoint H-1. It's not the same spec as the Noveske, but it's a well built, reliable and accurate lightweight MOE mid build.

This issue for me is that money talks. I'll gladly take a BCM with a used T1 over a new Noveske with an MBUS for the same price anyday.

I love that line. Well, what are you asking it to do is the real question.
