no he landed hard on his face and it just sunk in I guess. He went down hard, pretty sure he was dead before he even knew what hit him

Now that is definitely not something you see every day... Nice non-typical though. Would have been a great symmetrical rack!

I'm hoping to see this one this season yet. Don't want him breeding too many does

2014 - White Tail Deer Season

Wish I was still in VA, I got my first and only one a little over a year ago. Just never had the desire but now I kind of wouldn't mind.

If you have the chance now is a great time to be out there, it's rockin and rollin ... at least in my neck of the woods, seen several smaller bucks, not any of the three in particular I'm looking for but the bucks are cruisin hard.

I know OP asked for trail cam pics, wish I had some, I've just seen these deer in some close by fields but not on my property so far, but as the rut chase and breed phase kicks up along with local hunting pressure it's hard tellin what could get pushed past my stand location.

I'll be heading to the family farm in MO on the 16/17/18 and again on the 23/24/25. This will be my first time out and I am excited to learn someone new and hopefully have some success with beginner's luck. Already planning a deer rifle for next fall I am so interested and eager.
