While I'm hardly a fan of ISIS it's no different from an American flying a Nazi or Commie flag. The cost of freedom and all that, certainly wouldn't want to live next door to anyone like that. And along those lines, while legal free expression, rights sometimes come with consequences.

I don't know the guy, but from his responses he doesn't sound like someone that would really be that terrifying to live next to.

I'd certainly take the "ISIS" flag toting peaceful Muslim celebrating Ramadan over this guy

My first thought was: Where would you even find an IS/ISIS flag in this country? I mean, people aren't exactly sewing flags in their basements these days.

If I was his neighbor I would fly the Crusader's flag.

How about a peaceful, well educated, employed and well mannered member of the Christian Identity movement who flew an Aryan Nations flag from time to time? Better, same or worse than the ISIS guy?

He has the right to display the flag, no matter how other people feel about it.

He's not gonna be the last - Somebody's got to stir shit up. But he's within his right to do it, as insenstive as it is, just like I'm within my right to fry a huge slab of bacon upwind....

There's a pretty big Muslim population in northern New Jersey. At one point it was one of the largest concentrations in the US. Shouldn't be too hard to find a flag like that in such a community, especially if it it more of a Muslim identity flag, vs an ISIS-specific one.
The advice above is worth exactly what you paid for it.
