Actually, the stainless Noveske 10.5" barrel also retails for $350 with Gas Block and gas tube.

Too bad the longer ones like the 16" recon and 18" spr sure don't. Heck, I purchased an 18" from you.

I was just using practically similar barrels, otherwise what's the point in making the comparison? The BCM SS410 12.5" is about the same cost as the Noveske 12.5" Crusader. I hadn't compared prices on Noveske's longer barrels, though, so I guess I should eat my crow.

Noveske CL barrels are not double chrome lined. The chrome lining is twice as thick as standard. The same thickness as an FN m240.

    That is what I meant.

Is Noveske still using Pac Nors machines to bore and rifle their blanks? Or was that just a urban legend? Either way I have never really been a fan of button rifled barrels.

I believe Noveske brought all barrel manufacturing in house as of release of the Gen-3 lineup.

OP, don't get too enamored with the cool iron cross logo, it's just not worth the prices Noveske commands in my experience. Other companies sell products that are just as good or better for the same or less cost (BCM, Centurion Arms, Vltor). Stainless barrels that shoot just as well as Noveske's are easy to come by for less money.

BCM 16" Shiney SS410 vs Noveske 16" Recon Stainless is $52.35 Difference to your Door, both with Gas Block & Gas Tube.

I will make this conversation simple. Noveske is more expensive than BCM, not by much and there is a huge difference in accuracy. The overall quality is better in Noveske. Most people can't tell the difference because the barrel will out-shoot most shooters.

BCM does make a very good BCG.
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.
