Message is all well and good but I think ISIS is confident that Obama will never effectively deploy the US military in a way that is anything more than a mild hindrance to them. I'd love to just unleash something like the Marine Corps on ISIS but if we did we'd then have to say there another 10 years babysitting Syria AND Iraq so the next extremist group doesn't come along and take over.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
