Weird looking couple

Recently, while in a gun shop, I chatted ever so briefly about handguns with a couple shopping for a good one. LOL. The guy, who had a pony tail, could have passed for a boy scout. His wife looked like a professional lesbian and said little. When asked his occupation, the guy claimed to be a studio musician in Austin, and the guitar was his instrument. Oddly, he had never heard of Donald Duck Dunn and Steve Cropper, two of the best known guitar players and studio musicians. Neither had he heard of Booker T. Jones, a famous musician, songwriter, and arranger who worked closely with Dunn and Cropper. Whatever this idiot did for a living, playing a guitar ain't it. I suspect that he was ATF.

I wouldn't read too much into it, most of the modern musical artist wouldn't know any of the greats either. Nor do they actualy play an instrument well, or use their real voice...

just because he plays guitar it does not mean he's a musical historian. i play the guitbox too but i've never heard of those people. i prefer the influences of Kerry King and Dino Cazares personally.
