Did they actually tell you they don't like you? Like calling you up and going, "Please stop bending us over the table and ****ing us up the ass by streaming more data than most of our over seas phone operators have on their work computers?" Because if they did that is epic since most of the companies that don't like me anymore have to do with receiving a grade A ass chewing for various reasons, like not doing their job, and failing to send technicians out when they said they were going to schedule it, and for various other reasons that I am not going to list here.

I know on cox we hit over a TB in a few weeks with our post company uploading downloading files and on top streaming media

but they say unlimited then tell me there is a cap !!!! they never enforce it of course

can't wait till we have some kinda wireless insane fast I don't care who I pay for it as long as its reasonable and since it would be some kinda satellite wireless I dream of I can pay anyone anywhere in the world and choose not who has cables dug into my streets in my area of town and who has the biggest gov connections to keep any others from starting up etc.....

but like others IMHO most modern TV shows suck the ads suck and are annoying these days and when I can stream it or watch it with sickbeard grabbing what I want and have it ready or amazon prime for some shows I am willing to wait a while till it comes out these days ?

I pretty much just use my phone anymore. I pay my stepbrother $20 a month to piggyback on his wifi. Before he moved in I piggybacked off of the library next door. I don't watch enough to pay for cable.

I've logged over a TB of data this year through my phone. But, the convenience of having real internet will be nice. And they are working hard to get rid of my plan. Its a family plan with unlimited data and 5 lines for about $120. Ouch.

Indeed! We got rid of the last TV in 2006. In hindsight, I can't figure why it didn't happen sooner.

So how does everyone without cable watch college football? Lack of college football is the only hurdle that keeps me and the wife in cable.

Does Amazon Prime, Hulu, or ESPN.com do a reliable football streaming service now? Thought about doing it a couple years ago but the ESPN streaming was lackluster to say the least.

Local college games are broadcast over the air, here.

Rabbit Ears, my man. UGA games are usually covered locally. You'd be surprised at how good the over-the-air digital broadcasts look.

    Indeed.

I use one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Terk-FDTV2A-Om.../dp/B001VYQG16

To watch baseball games on Friday nights every now and then. I live 52 miles from the station, and the game actually comes in clearer than with cable. I was told that there is no compression when they broadcast the digital signal over the air.

It really does come in very well, and was well-worth the $40 investment to watch a few dozen games every year.

I usually buy the MLB At Bat app I believe it is. $25 and I get to listen to every baseball game all year. Working evenings so long I prefer listening the games as opposed to watching them anyway.
