I would say the instructor was responsible for his own death and this girl having to live her whole life having accidentally killed some one as a child. Sad situation, and not good publicity for gun owners and this type of establishment.

Yep, did we learn NOTHING from that? Uzis are really heavy and not a SMG that should be handed to children. They can quickly get away from kids, at least the little girl isn't dead.

Micro UZI, MACs, and similar high ROF SMGs should not be fired by a novice. That little girl would likely have handled a fullsize UZI SMG without trouble. The mini, aka Israeli MAC is a totally different animal.

Sad story and piss poor publicity for American gun owners.

Last time around it was a full size Uzi. Too heavy and they walk too much. The only SMGs I'd ever consider handing to kids is a A2 stock MP5 or a Swedish K. And even then I'm probably gonna have one hand on the weapon someplace.
