Ingesting lead is the primary issue... that is typically done when it has been turned into power that is used in paints or leaks into a water supply.

    And that is just one carcinogenic element to worry about. Add all the other hazardous elements and you would tip the Risk analysis firmly into the "its not worth the risk" column...

    Considering all the chemicals in the food we eat I'm sure helping Pop's clean the Ole AR is nothing.

    Why would you even risk it? Lead exposure is very dangerous to small children. There will be plenty of time when they're older.

    As a father, I simply won't risk my children's health with toxic heavy metals. It'd be the height of irresponsibilty.
