No problem. It's what I have used for a long time. If your grill is hot you can spray a little water on it and hit it with the brick and it will clean even better. Pretty much every restaurant that has a griddle/grill of any kind uses these.

I have old style square profile grill sections so it's pretty easy to take a brick and rub them clean.
