I didn't receive one from my active duty command but I did get this from inactive reserves when my time was up. Here's what they look like.

I believe that all branches give service members a certificate of honorable discharge. At least, I know that the Army does this as well.

I got mine from the Corps a few months after my total 8 year commitment in 1995. Mine went to my parents address which was my home of record throughout my enlistment. I know I get emails all the time from The American War Library maybe you could get one from them. David

Doing my job, sadly. I don't know if the standards for the award have dropped or the quality of Marine has dropped, but I really shouldn't have gotten either of them.
