It gets old buying top shelf scopes for every damn gun whether it be a RDS ( T2 ) for an AR or a scope for .22LR. I have a Diamondback on one Reece Colt build and scope has the Christmas tree reticle so I don’t have to dial even though I prefer to dial. It does the job and was like $250 cheap on sale.

I actually have one in the box in my closet right now. I didnt realize they didnt have a zero stop, which I want. Not the biggest deal killer but it's something Id rather have. Im trying to sell it right now to fund a slightly more expensive scope.

Thanks, look forward to getting that done soon. Was on the gun a lot last weekend, NF worked pretty well, but I definitely am getting a huge glass/tube upgrade...as well as the MPCT3X. Whew, love it at first blush.

This is a R700 in 223. Without a doubt one of my favorite rifles to shoot. Currently has a 1/12 twist barrel so it's limited to 55 grain stuff, but it's a half MOA rifle that I have taken out to 700. This winter I plan on having it rebarreled to run the longer bullets.

Finally confirmed zero with the can, no x axis correction, 0.6 down. Not bad, and tightened groups a bit. Gonna borrow a LabRadar after the holidays and see how velocity looks suppressed.

I considered a re-barrel on my .223 5R, but it shot heavy bullets very well. But if I had an 1/12 I would grab a kick ass .223 barrel in 1/7 or 1/8 twist let the good times roll. Good luck on your gun. Agreed the gun is so much fun to shoot and train with, everyone should have a .223 bolt gun.
