Got my rings this weekend and put my Remey togather
    Here are the pictures
No its not finished but its close

It took forever to get a decent zero on my rig because it was real windy at ASR but this is the best group I had
it isnt that great but the barrel isnt broken in and the accupod while great is really squishy on the Houge stock, its kinda like shooting on Jello
next outing Ill sandbag it to get a proper gauge of how it shoots

Stu,How is the 260 in comparison to the 308 in regards to LR shooting,I have HEARD it is just as good or better and easier to reload.

    I own both, .308 & .260
Both in McMillan A3's. Another .223 is being built as I type this in another A3 (yes I have a McMA3 fetish)
For comps that are not caliber specific I will always shoot the .260

Whatever my dope for wind is on the .308 I have in the past used just less than half value for my .260.
    My come-ups are less also.

As far as the claim that the .260 kicks less then a .308.......I personally can't tell the differance between either of mine.

Not sure if you can read what my load is so I'll post it:

    Remington RP brass
    Primer pocket cleaned
    Primer hole cleaned
    Inside & outside neck chamfered
    CCI BR 2 primers
    41.7 gr. of H4350
    Sierra 142 BTHP
    Loaded to 2.820

This load is a work up that I have done that works extremely well in rifle.
Caution: work up to this load and check for pressures in your stick.

I'm not sure that reloading a .260 is any easier than ________ but it's pretty straight foreward.

    FWIW,
    Stu

    It's my first time....be gentle. ;-)

OK, finally got the time to rattle-can my 700P. I'm pretty satisfied with the results considering it's my first attempt at this.

My thanks to PRGGodfather for the instructions and tolerance of my private messages. ;-)
