i have a savage 110 in .223 and i love it. its a driver. great gun by the way.

Not an expensive rig but Savage is making a great rifle.

I have been in this gun club for a little minute...there is a first time for everything. Man I love working with motivators.

Here's my first R700. I specced out what I wanted then called Charley Robertson at Score High in Albuquerque and he added his suggestions then set to work. It started life as a 243 SPS.


It's now a 6.5x47 Lapua and once I found a load it liked it started shooting like this all day long. That's a 200 yard target.

My only complaints are the barrel is too heavy for my liking and I can't seem to find the time to load ammo for it.
