    Thank you!

Its the 3-15x50 Light tactical. 30mm instead of 34mm tube as on the Heritage and no tool-less zero. So far I'm loving it. (roughly 8oz lighter is a major plus too)

Well see how it performs this hunting season as it was great on the square range with good lighting. Excited to see its low light performance.

eta: Diggin the all black rig! Let us know how the USO works out.

    Nice shooting.

... but why shoot such a tiny buck?

Not sure where you're from, but here in GA, our deer don't get as big as the Midwestern and Northern deer. A 180lb deer is pretty big. This 9pt isn't my biggest, but still respectable around here. Here's another angle:

Sorry about that. Forgive my ignorance. I hope you didn't take it as a slam... I was just curious.

Yeah, we grow bigger deer and bigger antlers up here in South Dakota! Here's my big boy from last year. 145" and weighed in about 300lbs. I'm 6'1" and 220lbs... for size comparison. He was big enough that dragging him by myself was a chore.

No offense taken, that's a fine animal you have there! Here's my biggest: 125" 10pt (Broken G4 on left only counted as 1"). He was 180lb dressed and drew a crowd at the processors for his body size.

Maybe one day I'll take a trip for one of those bigger deer y'all have out West.

I hope they let you shoot a bunch of them! I'd starve if my deer were that small. haha!

That's a picture of predator, and prey. The predator is the one with his heart still beating!

Whether each is/was an animal remains debatable. haha!
