Sako TRG W/ NF 5.5-22x56:
I got rid of a few toys to fund the purchase of the TRG. I am glad I did. It has been a stellar rifle.
Swarovski ATM 65 with a Bogen Manfrotto bipod. Another "buy once cry once" purchase that now that I am done eating ramen noodles over, I am very glad I did.
Just a heads up for anyone looking for a substantially less expensive spotting scope cover.
Creedmore Sports sells durable spotting scope covers for most major scopes for around $40 bucks and are very nice quality. They beat the hell out of what Swarovski wants for theirs. I could buy 6 or 8 Creedmores for the price of one Swaro cover.
Salvage .300 Win w/ a 6.5-20 MKIV Leupold in a McMillan A5.
I shoot Lapua Scenars through it.
Yesterday I had a fluke group. I had not shot the gun in a long time and needed to make sure it was still zeroed, which it was not. It was off to the left a bit
First three:
That is .072"s
The next two groups were .79 and .52 though.
That is what I get for getting too stoked at what I was seeing in my spotting scope.
Very nice shooting!
I have done that EXACT group before. I also did the same thing you did...you get too excited
Next time, act like you MEANT to do it haha.
Thats how I keep myself from bein stupid and wrecking my next shot string
I do it all the time!!!Your thought has something to do with taking this target and putting it on your refrigerator so you can boast about what a good shot you are. The same goes for the first four that act the same way. They are going on the fridge, or you are going to show it off to your buddies or something of that nature.
When this thought goes through your head, you will shift your body in an imperceptible way. You will not know that you did it, and you will swear that you didn’t. Because of this small shift, your last shot is blown out of the group.
I always have one lil guy that's off, but I often think that's the ammo.
Those are all .3 MOA groups.
7mm-08
I keep hearing about my gun rights, but I just can't seem to find them.
