People are always going to whine about fees, but I don't think Gunbroker is over the top. They are providing a service making it possible for sellers to reach more buyers than any other online firearm selling service.

I have to agree here. It is getting painfully obvious that this is what is happening.

Not so obvious anymore. Mods are doing a good job of monitoring this one. His post count just got whacked.

The point is that since the buyer can't actually pick up the rifle and handle it, he appreciates as many photos as possible, close ups, of every square inch, inside and out.

Nobody was suggesting showing the same thing "over and over."

    Eye roll.
Advising someone to avoid making a mistake isn't the same thing as accusing somebody of suggesting the mistake should be made. Very often, someone who doesn't know, thinking they simply have to show lots of pictures, will show the same thing over and over again, not knowing that a different focal length or different angle does not make it a different picture. It happens all too often and not just on Gunbroker and not just with firearms. Flooding the ad with a lot of pictures without some sort of plan or flow is the same thing as posting a wall of text without paragraphs or punctuation

I was recently talking to someone about trading and they sent me a TON of close up pictures. It made me feel a lot more comfortable about the trade as I saw virtually everything on the rifle before making my decision. It actually made the decision for me.

PT, the Report Post button works, in case you weren't aware.

We're aware of the pattern and are keeping an eye on it. Spare everybody the documentary, and please get back into your wheelhouse of misidentifying things and making correlation/causation fallacies.
