    300 Blk and buffers

Looking to build a 300 Blk. I plan on a 10" barrel with pistol length gas system. I plan on using a pistol buffer tube also. Which buffer should I run? I probably wont be shooting any subsonic/suppressed.

It depends on what gas port size you have. I would use whichever buffer just allows subsonic unsuppressed to lock open on an empty mag.

If you can make the gas port any size, then I tend to like H2 buffers.

What is the velocity of 220gr Remington sub sonic ammo out of a 10" barrel like he is talking about?

About 980 fps but it depends on the barrel.

A 12" is about as long as we can use and expect subsonic ammo to be subsonic?

No ammunition maker would design ammunition that was not compatible with a 16 inch barrel.
