Here in West Palm Beach, FL. we have a few indoor ranges that won't let you shoot unless you show them the stamp. We also have a Sheriff range which has asked me a few times if I have my paperwork but has never asked to see it. But I keep a copy of the stamp for the gun and suppressor in each of their own cases and a copy of every one of my stamps in my wallet just encase.

I have reduced copies in gun cases, gun safe, and in the truck.

I keep a copy of the suppressor stamp and the SBR stamp folded up in the pistol grip. For my .22 rifle there is a copy in a zip lock bag in the butt stock, need a Phillips head to get it out, but it's there.

Dropbox does wonders. I also do the reduce size, store in grip thing. As stated above notarizing a copy of a form 1/4 does effectively nothing. A notarized copy is legally no more valuable than my dropbox stored copies, or reduced grip storage copies. It may "look" more official to those who aren't sure of what they're looking at though.

Still not as practical as a tattoo which is with you 24/7.

Another option is to swallow a MicroSD with all your NFA forms every morning with breakfast.

(...or every-other-day depending on your metabolism.)

This is what I do and recommend. I make 1/2 sized full color copies front and back, then laminate them. Small enough at about 4"x5" and these go in my range bag or in the truck when I take the guns out. Simple enough, and they have worked the two times I have been approached by police (I shoot out in the country not at a range, and sometime people freak out). the real ones stay locked in a safe in my gun safe.

Here about half of mine. A bunch of MGs with SBRs and suppressors sprinkled into the mix. I have a disease, or am really stupid. The odd looking one in the corner is for the only MG that one of my businesses owns (FFL/SOT).

Yes, Shoot straight does. I have been asked at Markham park but that is an outdoor range. I know Delray shooting will not ask nor Okeechobee shooting sports. Not sure about Nexus shooting range. But I can see the Sheriff range actually looking at it. They don't mine because the same sheriff deputies see me there all the time with a few different items. I have been asked at another indoor range but I really cant remember which one for sure for the life of me. Sorry. I believe I have been asked at either Palm beach shooting center or Gator gun but not 100% sure.
