    What other upper calibers can be put on top a S&W 15 lower in 5.56?

    The easiest conversion of the lot.. All you need is the barrel. Fun to shoot as well..

    and probably a few dozen more calibers. Many more calibers that require a different bolt as well.
    There are Blow Back, DI, 5.56/.223 ar bolt calibers, custom bolt sizes, and a slew of different things. Many wildcat calibers for the AR, many botique uppers and calibers as well. IMO there is so much out there, and so many people making custom parts, barrels etc, that you can find almost anything. Only issue is, ammo rarity. Most of this stuff requires reloading etc as you typically won't find most of these calibers in your local gun shop.
