from the uk my legal l129a1

    hi

Im from the uk, even though our gun laws are the most bullshit in the whole of europe (the EU is more gun friendly then you might think) we are can still own everthing from from .22lr to 50cal which includes ak's, ar's fals etc however anything over .22lr cannot be self loading ! so our ar-15's/10's are striaght pull! in 2012 law enforcement international had LMT produce the british army sharp shooter rifle in straight pull only everything else is the same !
however to increase the rate of fire we add this to the right side of the bolt carrier :

with this side charger i can with ease recharge the rifle without breaking sight picture and i can manage one shot per second with ease ! which is fast enough for any situation ! this rifle is really amazing, lmt quality is outstanding, i've shot the rifle from 200 -1000 yards! i was pleasently suprised that i managed to shoot 1000 yards and 90% of time hit the target ! it was windy and had never shot at 1000 yards before! in fact the bolt gun target shooters took the piss but they soon shut up when they saw i kept hitting the target and with a 16inch barrel as well. Ammo was nato spec

are lmt's popular in the states?

1k is pretty good shooting with a 16in barrel, were you shooting with irons or do you have an optic on yours?

LMT's are pretty popular, they also have to compete against the Knights/GAP/JP rifles on the top end and the DPMS/Sig/POF rifles on the bottom here in the US but I happen to think that LMT makes the best rifle for the price range it occupies.

Interesting, actually thinking of picking up one of the vortex 2.5-10 scopes here soon for the MWS's little brother I just bought.
What barrel do you have with yours, the chrome lined or the stainless steel?

I think they are popular. If you look at this URL around 1103 posts about the LMT. https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...-us-your-setup Another, on Snipers Hide with 2524 posts. http://forum.snipershide.com/snipers...t-308-mws.html

Is your 16" the 1-11.25 twist or 1-10?

I have an LMT MWS with both a 16" 1-10 and 18" 1-11.25. I use a Vortex Viper PST SFP 4-16. Exceptionally well made and accurate.

Importing might be 'problematic' so you'll need to find a UK source (at double+ the $US price).
