    My first AR build

I am new here and wanted to share my first AR build with everyone. This is the first time I've ever completely built a AR, I have assembled lowers before but my first complete build assembling the upper also. I decided to try out the NFA game and by shopping around was able to put this little flamethrower together. I even purchased the NSR and Surefire here on the equipment exchange. The only thing I regret is using the NSR 11 rail because the dealer I bought the engraved lower from conned me into a AAC 762-SDN -6 so I need a shorter rail before that arrives and an AAC Brake. Also I am running irons till I can set back enough for a Red Dot.

    Upper:
10.5 inch 5.56 Noveske SS barrel
    Vltor MUR
    Noveske Nsr 11
    Noveske KX5
    Rainier Arms Nickel Boron BCG
    Rainier Arms Raptor CH
    Daniel Defense fixed BUIS
    Surefire X300 Ultra

    Lower:
    Noveske Gen 1 Chainsaw Lower
    Daniel Defense LPK
    B-GRF (Geissele Rapid Fire) Trigger
    Noveske Ambidextrous Safety
Vltor A5 Buffer tube and #3 buffer
    Magpul Miad 1.1 and Str
    Vtac padded sling

What was the cost on that build? And how much did those sights cost you?

Most of the stuff I shopped around for and watched for sales. Got the light, rail, stock, and flashider off of the equipment exchange here and other forums. Probably saved a few hundred dollars from what a new noveske rifle would cost. The daniel defense sights weren't super expensive and seem bullet proof. I bought them off brownells I believe. I can't really give you an exact price. My add makes me buy shiny things when I see them at a good price then I just usually throw em in my workshop locker until I do something like this lol

Dude! Great job for a first build! Only thing I would have possibly done differently is choose an all metal selector.

It's pretty tough it's a metal cylinder with magpul levers. I like the 60 degree throw but probably would buy a battle arms next time was a pain to install.

Battle Arms has two versions of a short throw selector.

Nice looking build! How does it shoot with the Noveske brake?
