Has anyone tried the Odin Works pistol tube? Looks to have a way to lock the brace up in place.

I used a BCM tube because I wanted the RE to be of known quality.
I also didn't want to use the brace pushed all the way to the end plate.
I also didn't want to paracord wrap or tape wrap my RE.

Got some kydex, cut and applied heat to make a decent looking spacer so the brace can't push forward any further.

You can also use four drops of super glue at the front end of the brace at each quarter of the brace on the tube. Put the glue on the tube about 1/2" to 1" back from the spot where you want the brace to be and then just slide the brace into position. If you mess up or want to remove the brace, nail polish remover will release the super glue and the brace can be removed.

That looks interesting, but I'm not a fan of the tubes sans castle nut. the adjustable locking collar is a great idea though.

I just wrapped some electrical tape around the buffer tube, the brace rode up on the tape and got stuck there.

Cheaper than replacing a buffer tube.

That piece they have that keeps the brace from rotating is pretty cool. I wonder if you could get just that piece?

Used the spikes buffer tube and that sucker is on tight and I can move it to desired length and it will stay granted it is bouncing off your shoulder.

MidWest Ind. has a receiver extension with a milled boss to keep the brace from moving forward and it is the correct length to fill the hole completely...cost me about forty bucks.

I asked them about this and they said in about another week or so (or whenever they're caught up with demand for complete kits) they'll offer it separately. Be advised their receiver extensions are 1.168" in diameter so it might not work with other larger tubes (KAK Industries SB-15 tubes are 1.175").
