I will add another vote for the Centurion. I have three and all have been rock solid.
One of mine is on an 11.5 that I run a reflex suppressor on, putting the can within about an eighth of an inch from the end of the rail. While I do not usually do mag dumps, I have put a mag or two through pretty quickly and not had any problems with heat.

Centurion middy cut-out here. Rock Solid.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.

I have a Centurion C4 Rail (Cutout Carbine) on my Colt and really like it.

when it comes to rail questions Centurion is never a wrong answer...
never push a wrench...

Out of those two, C4 all the way. That Troy is just hideous. And if you're gonna go with a 'squeeze the barrel nut' type rail, the C4s have good reviews.
-
I run a 13" Troy Alpha, without squid grips. Heat was a slight issue prior to me Cerakoting the rail, and now I have no issue with low round count classes or range sessions.
-
C4 hands down. Much stronger lockup design compared to the Troy tab setup.

I vote for C4. Never had success with their customer service though.
