    precision factory rifles?

Im looking at purchasing a factory precision ar in 5.56 and in the 1700.00 range I already have a sbr so looking for something for mid range out to 400 yards at very most, I have a bolt gun for the longer ranges and will be mostly a target gun .

Right now I'm thinking about a larue predatar in 5.56 or bcm kmr precision or knights armament. Im really leaning toward the larue what do you guys think I really want to best accuracy I can get say at 100 yards I know the larue says less than moa.

optics will be a bushnell elite 3.5-21x50 for long ranges then switching out to a 1-4 both have larue qd mounts so I can do this.

If you can find either of the KAC or LaRue for that price and in stock you'd be in luck. LaRue is over a year out, and the KAC is few and far in between and will break your 1700 mark.

The BCM is a great rifle, and it fits your range.

I personally would go with one of these, or build up one yourself

    lower: http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin...on&key=LWR-BCM

Under budget even when you add a premium trigger and your stock of choice.

Would this out shoot a larue moa at 100yards ? or be right with it ? I know bcm is nice just never heard anything about precision.

I've seen .5 moa groups out of those barrels with match ammo.

Some people claim to get 1-1.5 MOA with just PMC ammo

    What's your definition of precision?

I'd probably either get this: http://sionicsweaponsystems.com/stor...?id_product=10
or a BCM (this upper for example, http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-S...s410-kmr15.htm and add a BCM lower from somewhere).
Or a Noveske like I actually own right now, but their prices have gone way up lately. I mean, this is a great rifle and if you have money to spend, I'd get it:
    https://dsgarms.com/nvr-g3-18-556
but it's not $1000 better than the competition.

I don't think KAC produces the LPR anymore and I'd prefer not to spend money on Larue. I love the dillos and steak rub, but that's about it.

But honestly, the BCM is so price-efficient right now you'd be crazy not to buy one. Even if a complete BCM were in the $1700 range, I'd STILL buy one. But at $800 for a complete upper (you add in the price of a charging handle too, but get a free BCG AND a free compensator, plus a great rail and upper receiver and barrel), add another $500 or so for a lower with a great trigger and you come out ahead on price and didn't skimp on quality.

This. All day. Add a Geissele trigger and optic and you're done.
