Colt 9mm 1911's coming in 2015

I'm struggling between this and a new .45 Colt. Does anyone know why there is a $200 price differential based on caliber?

I only see a $5 difference between the two calibers locally.

Grant has some pretty great prices...$700 on the 9mm but $900 for the .45. I just don't know why the 9mm is cheaper. Guess I'll just check with him after the holidays.
