I would love to see them bring another limited run again this year...I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing the one I had a shot at. I currently have a 2.5-10x32 on my MSTN SPR and just got my MSTN RECCE upper that NEEDS this scope!
I for one would love to see something announced at SHOT!

Honestly, is there anything that competes with this today? I'm selling my VCOG and I'm not super excited about the cqbss or sr8c. I'm looking for an optic for the scar 17.
Imho....no.
I think the x24 is a perfect fit for the scar 17. The scar definitely won't break that particular optic. Super mag range in a super compact size. True 1000yd capable optic.

Don't do that to me. I've been perusing the "SCARs in the War on Terror" thread on fnforum (good thread as far as pictures go) and have determined that I really really need to find this optic.
The 2.5-10x24 has a certain intangible value that really makes the whole optic very unique in my book. A lot of it is formed from it's overall profile size when mounted on short rifle platforms (i.e. 18" barreled rifles and under ).
Combine that super compact profile with it's impressive 10x on the top end, and then throw in it's bombproof construction....and you get imho a very unique optic.
Having NF's QC/CS behind it is just piling on at this point.
All that said, I'm very biased towards this optic as it's my favorite.
March 1-10x24 or IOR 1-10x26 worth a shot?
I've wanted to try the March for a few years now....however I haven't ever been hands on with one.
Like all IOR glass, the Eliminator is a bit of a pig even though it is short in length. Weighs 28oz. The March weighs 18.7oz. The NF x24 weighs 17oz.
The NF x24 is also shorter than both of those.
Call me crazy, but I think I'll try a NF 2.5-10x32 with velocity 600 reticle. It gets me to 600 within 2.5". This would sit on scar 17 and will only be used for coyote duty right now.
