    Yes.

    Consider that if the centerline (C/L) of the barrel and the centerline of the rail are not concentric., even by just a few .001"s of an inch at the barrel nut, it means that the end of the rail is out even more at the end that the front sight is mounted to. Another variable is the C/L of the receiver being out to the C/L of the barrel.
    In my situation, the front sight is neither in line with the barrel's centerline, nor the rail's centerline. The front sight is literally pushed off to one side of the rail because the sight itself is not symmetric. The large flip-up part of the sight is not anywhere close to centered with itself, the rail, nor the barrel.

    I'm not concerned with having to adjust windage. That is normal. I am concerned that the front sight is so far out of what a reasonable person would consider to be "centered," even if by eye. This leads me to believe there is something wrong with Troy's manufacturing... or it's intentional for some reason.

    I am out of town for Thanksgiving. But when I get back I will post a photo so y'all can see what I'm talking about.
