Does everything function correctly? It's just the feel you don't like?

The feel of the ACT is nothing special at all. Had I known I would have saved the $60. Its just a standard mil-spec trigger coated with NiB and upgraded to Geiselle springs and pins.

I guess it's just the way it is. I double checked the install, even re-installed, and it feels the same. I know the ACT, is just an improved mil trigger, but the old one was very gritty so I swapped it out. I will shoot the gun this way for a while and see if it wears in or not. I plan on switching triggers eventually to a ssa-e anyway. Thanks for the help guys.

Do you have a lot of experience with a 2 stage trigger? I recently installed an ACT and I also thought is had a slow reset but I just chalked it up to me being used to the reset of a 2 stage, which is a bit quicker and shorter.

I disagree, the ALG is FAR better than a standard LPK Milspec trigger.

OP, since reinstalling didn't help, have you shot one of these before?

Yeah, the ALG ACT is definitely an improvement over the standard milspec trigger. The trigger reset on the ACT should be the same as a good Colt milspec trigger. Basically, the ACT just cleans up the grit and evens out the pull.

I have not used one of these before, but I have pulled a lot of triggers and this one by far has the worst reset.

I wonder if I change just the hammer back if that would make a difference.

Have you thought about contacting ALG? Everyone puts out a lemon and there could be a tolerance off causing the issue. The only issue i had with my ACT is that the reset is not as positive as a regulat milspec. Likely due to the NiB coating being slick.

    ^^^^^^

    Agreed.

ALG was very responsive, and took care of the FCG that I purchased by sending a replacement w/postage paid return packaging for the original ACT.
The issue I had was the safety selector would not engage with bolt locked to the rear (Lower + safety fully functional with other high-quality triggers).
Also, I noticed that the reset was "slow" compared to other OEM-style triggers.

The replacement ACT remedied all issues.
